Path1: Approved for VERAP
If you already have an application approved through VERAP, the next step is to fill out this application. Once we receive your application, we will confirm with VERAP that you are approved. Then, once your Landlord submits their application, a mediator will be assigned.
Path 2: Not part of VERAP
If you have not applied to VERAP, the first step is to apply to VERAP. To read an overview of the VERAP program, go here. Or, if you are ready to start your VERAP application, go here.
Once your VERAP application is approved, apply to our mediation program here.
Path 3: You receive services through AHS or DCF
If you are receiving rental assistance through the Agency of Human Services (AHS) or the Department of Children and Families (DCF), you are eligible for the mediation program. Qualifying programs include:
- • Reach Up,
- • Reach First,
- • Reach Ahead,
- • Reach Post-Secondary Education Program (PSE), and
- • Child-Only households with at least one parent in receipt of SSI.
